Organizational structure

The administration of the Hulu Terengganu District Council is led by the Yang Dipertua who is assisted by the Secretary and Administrative Officers appointed by the State Government under the Local Government Act 1976 (Act 171). To ensure smooth administration, the Council's Administrative Organisational Structure is divided into six divisions as follows :-

1. Administration Division
2. Finance Division
3. Planning and Development Division
4. Health and Hygiene Division
5. Asset Valuation and Property Management Division
6. Legal and Enforcement Division

The Hulu Terengganu District Council has 135 members of staff comprising:

1. Management and Professional Group - Permanent (2)
2. Support Group I - Permanent (24)
3. Temporary (1)
4. Support Group II - Permanent (108)
5. Contract (1)
